Home Learning for Room 3


Kia ora whanau. Hello Parents, Family, and Friends of Room 3.

Thank you firstly for your support of your children’s learning and education. It is a pleasure to meet you all and look forward to getting know you throughout the year.

Home learning in Room 3 will involve reading books and spelling. Each child will be taking their book bag home with a book to read to someone at home. They are to bring the book back to school to swap it with another book. It is important that all books come back to school. We use these books in class time. Please also write in the notebook (in the book bag) to say the book has been read and any comments you would like to share with me.
Children will be taking a notebook home with a list of spelling words to be learnt. They are to learn and know all the words by Friday when they will asked to spell them.
If you would like further home learning activities. I am more than happy to provide these extra activities.

Hand Fish Art By Room 3

Our classroom theme for this year is 'Deep Sea' and we have made Hand Fish Art.
We traced around our hands. We connected the palm together. We add an eye and
some lips. We made the scales by doing finger dots with paint.
